Fuck the detached, dispassionate, unemotional, and content. I fight the machine because my conscience leaves me no other choice.
We found ourselves inside a cubicle for far too many hours droning away at work that was meaningless or otherwise unappreciated. Music gave us hope that life would not be filled with a case of the Mondays - but we knew we were dreaming about life, instead of living it. So we changed that.
As some of you know, Angie and I plan on traveling quite a bit over the next year or so. It seems we can’t go more than a few months without taking some sort of trip - and this year we’re all in. It’s in our DNA. In fact, the very first thing we did together was head to Niagara Falls, Canada without a passport, or parental permission, at the age of 17.
Many more adventures to come: throughout this year we will be in London, Chicago, Cancun, Milwaukee, New Orleans, San Antonio, and tons of other places between Maine and California. Before all of this, we take it back to where it all began by urban camping in our Honda Element Ecamper in the middle of Niagara Falls, Canada.
