We were welcomed into their home, and together we made pizza. We talked for hours about friends, music, and appreciation of art. They told us how they met, on that stormy day by the lake, and what they have planned for the future. We are so happy to share these moments, this part of life, with them.

Fight the Machine

Fuck the detached, dispassionate, unemotional, and content. I fight the machine because my conscience leaves me no other choice. We found ourselves inside a cubicle for far too many hours droning away at work that was meaningless or otherwise unappreciated. Music gave us hope that life would not be filled with a case of the Mondays - but we knew we were dreaming about life, instead of living it. So we changed that. As some of you know, Angie and I plan on traveling quite a bit over the next year or so. It seems we can’t go more than a few months without taking some sort of trip - and this year we’re all in. It’s in our DNA. In fact, the very first thing we did together was head to Niagara Falls, Canada without a passport, or parental permission, at the age of 17. Many more adventures to come: throughout this year we will be in London, Chicago, Cancun, Milwaukee, New Orleans, San Antonio, and tons of other places between Maine and California. Before all of this, we take it back to where it all began by Urban Camping in our Honda Element Ecamper in the middle of Niagara Falls, Canada.

We had a mini adventure going all around University Circle, downtown Cleveland, and then finally Lakewood (where Brett asked Emily to marry him). We can't wait for their big day!

Jessica Workman is a gorgeous young girl with a great smile. She has already worked with some major publications and needed some photos to be used in an upcoming issue of Guitar World magazine. She also wanted to get some different shots for her portfolio. GVArt used her for their lookbook, she's been in music videos, and also had a feature in a huge national magazine. We grabbed some looks in the Rocky River Metroparks before heading downtown to get grimey.

Rachael has such a beautiful elegance to her and Josh is ultra cool in a laid back kind of way. We knew their wedding would have all the perfect little details to make the day a special one. We didn't know how fun it would be to be around them and their friends. Rach and Josh have been friends for. ev. er. and they've been friends with their friends forever too. These guys have a relationship that only time can make. The love is there, it's obvious, but there's so much more than that. This relationship has a certain feeling, like few others, their love is a romance that stands the test of time. We were happy to be there on what will surely be just one of many beautiful, happy, amazing days to come.

The music, lights, dancing, family, friends, and all around rocking out made this day so special. These guys are some of the reason why the world is so warm and bright. Happiness surrounds Amy and Greg and flows to everyone fortunate enough to know them. They brought all of their experiences to the wedding, with beautiful little details that showcased why these two are so perfect for each other. The night ended appropriately with friends and family joyously circled around Amy and Greg as they held each other closely. Big smiles all around.

This was such a nerdtastic wedding, in all the right ways. S'mores after the rehearsal, a Scrubs reading during the ceremony, and live music played by the newlyweds and their friends all added to the magical weekend. Dana crafted the centerpiece flowers out of sheet music and the vintage style bled through every detail. By the end of the weekend John had broken glasses, a wedding ring snug around his finger (handmade by his beautiful wife), and that warm feeling where everything just. feels. right.

Wow, these guys are perfect for each other. Their wedding is going to amazeballs. No joke.
